The Screen Actors Guild Awards is the latest to announce they will be serving a Plant Based Menu at this years annual 26th Awards show ceremony this weekend on January 19th, 2020, as part of the show’s long-standing commitment to sustainable practices.

The Entrees will consist of Romano Bean Salad with Arugula, Niçoise Olives, Shaved Baby Peppers and Sweet Onion Vinaigrette, 
A Paella Rice Salad with Squash, Tuscan Kale and Piquillo Peppers and Charred Harissa Glazed Baby Carrots, Little Gem Lettuce, Pita Croutons, Sumac and paired with Cooper’s Hawk Artist’s Red Blend Cooper’s Hawk Lux Chardonnay.

The SAG Awards and Warner media gets behind the local LA restaurant scene to serve up a special plant based menu in the lead up to the Awards Ceremony. Here is a few of the beloved LA hot spots.

The Critics Choice Awards (CCA) also announced they are serving a plant-based menu at the 25th annual event, the second Awards ceremony so far this season to do so following the Golden Globes. Vegan Actor Joaquin Phoenix wins Best Actor at the CCA Awards and  thanks the Critics Choice Awards for serving a plant based menu during his speech.
